NAG 2009

CATEGORIES and NOMINATION

The NAG competition is organized for winners of the national competitions or for students nominated under the Area Academy Manager approval. Competition categories:

UNI Category - universal for all individuals – the goal is to identify the best NetAcad students (secondary school and university students)
HS3 Category - category for secondary school teams (3 students per team)
PT Category - open category for all individuals specialized in the usage of Packet Tracer

Nomination for each category – via registration/application form with AAM approval for winners of national country competitions)

Category UNI – max 2 students from each country
Category PT – max 2 students from each country
Category HS3 – max 1 team from each country
Deadline for nominations: June 2, 2009

Requirements for nomination:

  • Student of secondary schools or university
  • Student need to be properly registered into the Cisco Networking Academy Program – participation only through their home academy

Age limits:
Category UNI and PT = max 26 year old students
Category HS3 = max 21 year old students

Notice:
In both categories UNI and PT, students who are also registered in the NetAcad system as instructors can be nominated. These competitors will deal with the same task as the students but their results will be evaluated separately from the students’.

The Competition Jury:
The International competition jury: Each country, its students are going to participate, has to nominate at minimum one instructors into the jury.
